Sandra Henley, CEO, Genesis Community Development Center Corporation since 2000.
Earned B.A., Clayton State University, GA, attended Penn State University and Montgomery County Community College; earned numerous non-credit courses in early childhood education.
Her professional career includes co-owner, Henley Business Systems; Operator, residential home for disabled youth; Operated retail store to provide donations to shelters; Licensed Century 21 Realtor; Production Control Analyst for Honeywell and Ford Corporation.
Community Affiliations: President, Willow Grove Chapter NAACP; Chairperson, Good News Jail and Prison Ministry; Board Member, Willow Grove Bank Foundation; Board Member, Montgomery County Commission on Women and Families; Board Member, Willow Grove Senior Citizen Center; Member, Personal Care Providers of Penna.; Deaconess, Shalom Assembly of God.
Military Veterans support: My husband, Jerry Henley, served in Marine Corp for ten years, exposed to and died from Agent Orange complication; Serving as President NAACP assisted Navy veteran with job position withheld by commanding officers; Assisted 20 year Army veteran to be removed from an abusive boarding home and relocate to a safe assisted living facility; conducted radio broadcast seminar on how to obtain VA housing loans.
Youth Programs: Counselor for youth NAACP members; opened a community center for school age children; supervised ten week camp program; opened a day care center for pre-K, Kindergarten, After School Program; Sunday School teacher.
Accomplishment: Published Author, The Everything Bagel with a Side of Milk and Honey, 2017, Bible history, world history, prophecy, Pages 870, ISBN 978164027733-5. Educational travel to Egypt and Israel.
